CS707 and 727 Fire Procedures

Featured Replies

Hi chaps and chapesses,

If anyone is flying the Captain sim 727 and 707 there are some scripts on Avsim Library that also include the Emergency Engine Shutdown flows for fire. Now for the 707 as well as the 727. Just search "David Herky" and they are there.

The 727 flows are updated to include the fuel valve shut off during the procedure. It looks something like this:-

The 707 has similar shutdown flows for each of the four engines and the evacuation flow.

I have not had time to do a 707 fire video (yet) but the flows work well and also give you some nice asymmetrical thrust problems to solve, should you chose to have a fire on one side of the aircraft!

The emergency escape slides are worked from the CS 2d pop up panel. Manually at the moment, unless Ben has a spare minute to include them in a future patch. (cheeky hint) :O

Best Regards

David
