Can anybody comment on FPS in the Coolsky DC9?

Featured Replies

Looking to get this addon, I'm into the whole VOR navigation thing.

Was reading some older posts and saw some folks were having FPS issues with the addon and some other small bugs.

Owners of the DC9, how is the FPS? I can run the NGX and get 30+ at almost all airports, only dipping down to 28 or so in bad weather on the ramp at more complex airports.

I'd trust the comments people made about FPS in the DC9, however, those comments are more than a year old and hardware has changed since then. I myself have built my own computer, including parts such as,

i7 4770k

GTX 780

Corsair DDR3 9-10-9-27 1886 RAM

All built around a Z87 Sabretooth.

I understand this is a broad question, however I am interested in how this plane runs for you all as it very well could be my next purchase, the FPS being the deciding factor.

It's sold by Flight1 which offers a no questions asked 30 day money back guarantee, why not buy it and try it out. If it's not performing as well as you want just return it for a refund. Nothing better than a no risk first hand experience.

It had issues to start with, and those posts might reflect that. Post SP it is awesome. Honestly, I'm not a frame counter. But I haven't noticed it being any worse than NGX.
