June 1, 201412 yr Gentlemen: I downloaded several livery files for the PMDG 737NGX which were zip files. When I opened the zip files what I got was a PTP file. I am at a loss of what to do. In the past I would open the zip file and get an installation .exe file. Any ideas of what is happening? Thanks. Stanner
June 1, 201412 yr NGX has a livery installer - no need for an exe it does not work like that in NGX - windows start menu and go to PMDG - You will see the livery installer there Rich Sennett
June 1, 201412 yr Stanner, in your start menu navigate to 'PMDG Simulations' --> 'PMDG 737 NGX' and run the 'Livery Manager'. In the center of the window you will see a button 'Select Livery to Install', click on it and navigate to the directory where you PTP file is located. Double click on the file or files and the rest will be done for you automatically. The Livery Manager can also be used to uninstall liveries or reinstall repaints. The tool is pretty simple and I'd wish more developers would offer something similiar. Christian Mohr
