  1. Gentlemen, I have PMDG aircraft in FS2004 (767-600-700 +767-400) and FSX (767NGX 700-800 +767-400). I have the disc for these aircraft. Can any be operated in Prepard3D V4? Thanks. Stanner
  2. Gentlemen, Will the PMDG aircraft I have in FS2004, and FSX operate in FSX Steam? I am referring to FS9 737-600-700, and FSX 737NGX and 747-400 aircrafts Thanks Stanner
  3. Gentlemen, Can FSX Gold Edition operate on Windows 10? Can FS9 (2004) operate on Windows 10? Thanks. Stanner
  4. Gentlemen, Just purchased Eurowings 2004 A319/A320 from Aerosoft. Big mistake. Now I know why it was so cheap in price. The Autopilot does not display numerical values in the Autopilot; SPEED, HEADING, ALTITUDE or VERTICAL SPEED. The entire areas is just a black rectangle. I have installed the software twice. It seems this product was developed for FS2002 and tweaked for FS2004. I am surprised at Aerosoft for selling this ancient software. Many of the dials etc., are not functional. Does anyone have experience with this product? I can find no patches on Aerosoft for Eurowings etc. Any help or suggestions are welcomed. Thanks, Stanner
  5. Gentlemen: I do add the suffix digit 01 at the end of the plan name. I have set the path to the correct folder. This is why FSC saves it to the correct folder as I have noted. I do tick the Aerosoft Airbus box. I still get a plan in the PLN format. Stanner
  6. I have FS Commander 9.6 for FSX. Aerosoft Airbus 318/319 for FSX requires flight plans in the FPL format. When I create a flight plan using FS Commander 9.6 for FSX, the plan is in the PLN format. When I load the plan in the MCDU of Aerosoft A318/319 I get the message NOT IN DATABASE. I know the plan is in the correct Flight Plan folder which is found in Windows 7 C:\user\my name\my documents\Aerosoft\Airbus\Flight Planss. In this folder are other flight plans created by Aerosoft PFPX, and these are all in the correct FPL format. However, the plan in this folder created by FC Commander is in the PLN format. How can I create a flight plan in the FPL format using FS Commander 9.6 for FSX? Thanks, Stanner PS tried Aerosoft support forum....no help
  7. Jim, I have removed all the FSX files I could find. I will do a reinstall and hope it takes. I had a heck of a time deleting aircraft and scenery codes from the registry and c:\Program Files(x86) InstallShield Installation Information. (I have Win7 64 bit.) I did a registry clean with CC Cleaner. What a mess! Thank you for your help. Stanner
  8. I installed Plan-G and while connected to FSX my computer crashed and got a black screen. When I rebooted my FSX folder and PLan-G folder were both gone, off my disc drive. Now I have no FSX. Stanner PS anything like this happen to you with Plan-G?
  9. Jim, Thank you for taking the time to reply to my post. I had FSX installed on my "D" drive. I did a START SEARCH for Microsoft Flight Simulator X and only found the two files mentioned. I also did a search through START SEARCH of the D drive and found no FSX folder. I also used Windows internet Explorer to search the D drive. No FSX folder. I went directly to the D drive (Computer-D drive) and no FSX. I am using Windows 7 How can a crash to the Black Screen delete an entire program? It also deleted the Plan-G program. I had to reboot after the crash. Will I have a problem reinstalling FSX (I have the Gold Edition) in view that it was not correctly deleted? (Assuming it was deleted). Thank you. Stanner PS I posted the same question on the Pllan-G forum, and they said they never heard of a computer crash deleting a complete program. Also they had no idea why it crashed.
  10. Has anyone had problems operating Plan-G with FSX? Would appreciate comments on your experience with Plan-G and FSX. Thanks. Stanner
  11. I had Plan-g open with FSX operating in the background. Then the computer crashed and I got a BLACK SCREEN. When I rebooted I found that my FSX folder had disappeared. In the Windows 7 PROGRAMS AND FEATURES, FSX was NOT LISTED. The only FSX files remaining were where the flight plans are located, and the file where the FSX.cfg file is located. Questions: 1. I assume there is no way to recover the FSX files. Is this correct? ( I tried a reset to an earlier date with no success). 2. Since FSX was not properly uninstalled, will I have a problem reinstalling FSX? (I have the FSX Gold edition) 3. I deleted Plan-G. What could have caused the computer to totally crash to a black screen? 4. What could have caused the complete removal of FSX? Thanks. Stanner
  12. Gentlemen, I am unable to open the Cargo Doors on the Level D 767. I have been using Shift+1 to open the main entrance door and that opens and closes OK. However, when I try Shift+2 and Shift+3 the cargo doors will not open. What happens is that these key strokes closes the main entrance door. What are the correct key strokes to open all doors, main and Cargo? Thank you. Stanner
  13. Gentlemen, I am using the Level D 767 in FS9. In my departure airport I have no problem in taxing using manual rudder on my joystick. However, when I land at the destination airport, the manual rudder controls will not operate the rudder. I must switch to AUTOMATIC rudder in order to taxi. I do not have this problem with other aircraft. Any ideas? Thanks. Stanner
  14. Gentlemen, It appears Frankfurt Main EDDF changed some of its ILS frequencies. I am flying PMDG aircraft with up to date ILS. However, these are not recognized by the Aerosoft Mega Frankfurt airport scenery. Does anyone know how to get aroud this problem? Thanks. Stanner
  15. Gentlemen: I downloaded several livery files for the PMDG 737NGX which were zip files. When I opened the zip files what I got was a PTP file. I am at a loss of what to do. In the past I would open the zip file and get an installation .exe file. Any ideas of what is happening? Thanks. Stanner
  16. I had IVAO installed on my PC, but FSX crashed Windows 7 and in the process of being repaired the IVAO files were deleted. I tried installing IVAO on Window 7 for FS2004. When I get to the MTL section (where you select the aircraft to be used in IVAO) the installation stops and I get the message "UNABLE TO FIND FLIGHT SIMULATOR. PLEASE CHECK YOUR IVAP INSTALLATION." I have tried the IVAO forum, but no one seems interested in replying, although there are several posts from people with the exact MTL installation problem. I would appreciate any suggestions you may have. Thank you. Stanner
  17. Gentlemen; Installed in FSX 737-800/900 NGX version 1.00.3118 from a CD. I have PMDG B737-600/700 installed in FS9. I downloaded Svc Pack 1 from PMDG and have been unable to install. I get message that I must install PMDG 737-600/700 first before attempting to install the Svc Pack 1 update. I am confused since I do not want to purchase the FSX version of 737-600/900. Any help would be appreciated. Also understand that the latest CD's are version 1.00.3219. Do these include Sp1? Thanks. Stanner
  18. EDITED BY PMDG - we don't need people unnecessarily making registry edits unless directly instructed to by our support - please don't post the instructions on the forum. If someone has this issue they should contact us directly and we will provide the instructions in a controlled manner.
  19. I am having installation problems. I had 737-800/900NGX installed in Win7 32bit. Do to PC problems I was forced to manually uninstall the folders for 737-800/900NGX. Stupid move. Now unable to uninstall. When I try to install from my CD I am told that the 737NGX installed is a MORE CURRENT VERSION 100.3219 than the version 1.00.3118 am trying to install from my CD. I must first uninstall the more current version, (which I am unable to do), and then install the earlier version from my CD. Are there PMDG CD's available for purchase which are at least the version 1.003219? If yes, where can I buy? Thanks. Stanner
  20. Gentlemen; I had problems with my PC and was not able to uninstall PMDG 737NGX using Win7 uninstaller (Control>Programs etc.). So I uninstalled the 37NGX files and folders manually from FSX. The listing of PMDG 737NGX remained in the Control>Programs etc. I tried to uninstall the listing in ControI>Programs etc. but kept getting the error message "an error 5005:OX80070002 has occurred while running this setup. If this error still occurs contact your vendor PMDG Simulations." I tried to reinstall the PMDG 737NGX but was told that I have a more current version installed, and that I must first uninstall it before installing this version. I ran CCleaner to clean the registry. Does PMDG have any suggestions on how I can reinstall the 737NGX? It seems I must uninstall whatever remains of 727NGX on my computer. Thanks. Stanner
  21. I purchased Aerosoft Airbus Extended X with RAAS FS2 Crew software included. When I load FSX I continue to get the message from RAAS Professional....."YOUR PRODUCT IS OUT OF DATE. DO YOU WANT TO UPDATE.?" I do not wish to update. How can I eliminate this message from appearing every time I load up FSX? Is the only way to do this is to delete the RAAS FS2 Crew software from my computer? Thanks. Stanner
  22. CU, The PMDG has a flight computer FMC which must be programmed in order to have the autopilot fly a route. If you wish to have the default FSX ATC operative you need to also set up the route in the FSX flight planner. Do the following: I am assuming you are not using a route builder such as FS Commander or FSBuild to create and export the flight plan into the PMDG 747 FMC. 1. Create the flight route in FSX flight planner, and Print out the route. 2. Input the created route into the PMDG 747 FMC. If you use a route builder, then have the route exported to 1. FSX 2. PMDG 747 The idea is to have the SAME ROUTE in the FSX flight planner AND ALSO in the FMC of the PMDG. This will permit you to have the FSX default ATC fly the route. Stanner
  23. Try FlyUK Virtual airlines at flyuk.aero You need to make one flight per month to stay active. As an entry level pilot you have several aircraft available to you. Stanner
  24. Let start at the beginning. As you approach I assume you are flying the GPS, so you have the NAV and Altitude switch activated, as well as the autopilot. To get the aircraft to fly an ILS you must first switch the from GPS to NAV. In some aircraft there is a GPS/NAV switch. I believe in the C90 the change is done on the Garmin by clicking on the CDI switch on the lower left hand side. Next you must change from NAV to HDG on Select Panel. When within 15 nm activate the APPR (approach) button. Since you are on autopilot, the aircraft will now follow the Heading bug on the compass instrument. Therefore you need to make certain the Heading bug is set to the correct course to intercept the ILS. You should also set the heading arrow on this instrument to the ILS heading. You then need to be at the correct altitude to intercept the ILS. This altitude depends on the particular runway and airport. You need to consult the approach chart. If you do not have a chart then use 3,200 feet. This means that you should approach the ILS at 3.200 feet. The distance from the airport runway apron that the ILS engages again depends on the runway and airport. However this can vary from 9nm to 15 nm. Usually it is closer to 9nm. It is at this point that the autopilot should begin to fly the ILS and you will note the altimeter descending. If you are too high you will not intercept the ILS. Look at the small yellow triangle on the left side of the compass instrument (the one with the hdg bug and the course yellow arrow). If your aircraft has "captured" the ILS, this yellow triangle on the left will begin to descend towards the horizontal white line. Also the yellow course arrow should begin to converge towards the short yellow line. This tells you that the aircraft is lining up with the runway. When the course yellow arrow lines up with the small yellow line, you are lined up to fly straight in to the runway. When the small yellow triangle on the left is lined up with the white horizontal line you are following the ILS down correctly. At about 100 ft elevation, shut off your autopilot and auto throttle and manually fly the landing. Stanner
