Btw if you're a Keyhole subscriber you can get in on the new beta of "Google Earth" which is what the product is being renamed to now that Google owns Keyhole. It's really cool and I've already noticed a lot more high resolution areas. The streaming is a lot quicker now too.

Hey guys, I am also curious to know if there is any reason why these images cannot be used in FS. Does satellite imaging use Jpeg scenery files like digital photography?Would like to get a take on what the pros think...CheersDan

There is also a little trick that lets you view aerials available at google's website directly in World Wind :) Only problem is you have to set up a mapserver to do it so it's a little tricky.Matt
