Flickering and OOM

Featured Replies

Hello all :-)

Have 3 monitors- and Titan GPU, but what about the future for Steves Fixer?

Using 8xcsaa and 4 grid sparse sup.

Think somtimes the flickering is much in the airports with runways and other stuff.

Using 8x and 8 grid sparse sup. .My fps dont drop,

but some clouds at the sky- makes fps drops..

think I have low settings for sky-

Will there be a solution for that in the future? ?

And what about OOM, think so many developers are making so many excitements scenerys, but is beeing harder and harder to the memory..

Are some companys looking for a OOM solution fot the FSX future ?

Chris from Denmark:-)

DX10 is much better than DX9 regarding memory handle but sometimes in areas like KSEA,EGLL,LFPG it can be brought to its knees.

A little tip-off for users with FTX ORBX Regions and Vector. Remember to switch Vector off when flying local inside a FTX region. It will save you around 200 mb of VAS (at least that is what i am seeing)

you need to read through the guide re AA.

AA needs to be ticked in FSX settings and excluded in NI

Steve's dx Scenery10 fixer has the manual included, just click on it when you open the Fixer program, there is also a 'How to Guide' by Paul J over at the SOH forum, but if you see a posting of his there are some links at the foot of his post. both give advice on setting up AA and other NI setting
