June 13, 201411 yr Hi Would anyone know how to adjust the actual size of the green projected images in the HGS in the 737 NGX, or even if it is adjustable. I seem to remember it being slightly larger than it now seems to be, or maybe I'm just getting older and things appear to be smaller I know there is an adjustment for the intensity of the display but wondered if there was a way to increase the actual size of the image? Cheers Iain
June 13, 201411 yr Move your "head" (as in, the virtual head of the pilot) forwards or backwards, as needed. You can do this with a combination of Shift,Control, Backspace and Enter. I forgot what is the proper command now, so just try them, and see where you end up. Name available upon request
June 13, 201411 yr Author Thanks Kriva but I mean the actual size of the text on the screen moving forwards or backwards doesn't seem to actually change the size, it remains the same, you only get closer or further away from the display itself.
June 13, 201411 yr Moving your head changes the size relative to the combiner, zooming in or out changes the actual size. --Peter Fabian
