Driver for P3D/FSX

Featured Replies

Hi all.

Perhaps a silly question, but I currently have 335.23 drivers on my GTX 560Ti (the latest one I believe)

Direct X Runtime: 11.0

Should i be running this or should i be using an older driver?

I will be getting my GTX 770 Shortly, will this effect what driver i should go for to run P3D/FSX the best?

Cheers

Here is a tip for you when you get your new gfx card.

In P3D you will need to delete the shader cache and allow them to rebuild as this will help prevent any visual issues. You can find the shader cache here

What will deleting the shader cache do/help ? visual issues such as ?, just curious.

It seems that in P3D, the simulator 'purses' and speaks to the driver suite...and then builds up its shader configs after having done so.  That is why if you ever get a drop to desktop at the start of a session, first deleting the Shader Folder will usually correct that situation.  Hope this helps.
