June 20, 201411 yr Hello. When I use FS2CREW NGX or Airbus X version my speakers don't work. I try speaker tests and they don't work. My headset is plugged into my motherboard headphone jack slot. Cheers Ross
June 21, 201411 yr Commercial Member Hi Ross, Did you select the audio device associated with your speakers on the FS2Crew Config section. Did you then press the "HS" button on the FS2Crew Main Panel. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
June 21, 201411 yr Author Yes I selected my device... but I may have forgot the HD button. I'll get back to you later. Ross
June 21, 201411 yr Author Hello again. I tried the speaker test with the HS button and my headset selected but its still not working. Thanks Ross
June 21, 201411 yr Author Hmm... Just thought I may have accidently set speakers to surround... i'll check tomorrow.
June 22, 201411 yr Commercial Member Hmm... Just thought I may have accidently set speakers to surround... i'll check tomorrow. Make sure they're set to "Stereo" in the Windows Control panel. Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
June 22, 201411 yr Author Yup, It's on Stereo and still not working. I tried changing it to 2D panel as default and its still not working. Only thing I could think is I set cold and dark as default panel state (ie: when I select any NGX it will automatically load cold+dark) but I select this through FMC so I doubt it would effect it. Cheers Ross
June 22, 201411 yr Commercial Member Unplug your headset. Can you get sounds out of your main speakers? B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
June 23, 201411 yr Commercial Member Please go into Windows Control panel, audio devices, and ensure your Playback device is set properly as the default device. Best, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
June 25, 201411 yr Commercial Member Did this audio problem happen out of the blue or did it work before? B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
June 25, 201411 yr Author Well... I took a bit of a break from using FS2CREW and when I came back to use it on the same pc it just done this.
June 25, 201411 yr Commercial Member Well... I took a bit of a break from using FS2CREW and when I came back to use it on the same pc it just done this. If it worked before, something on your system went ka-put. Try re-installing your audio drivers... B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
June 25, 201411 yr Author I shall reinstall drivers for motherboard audio and reinstall fs2crew and take it from there. Only thing that changed is my headset to Razer Kracken. Cheers Ross
