July 4, 201411 yr have been using bufferpools poolsize=0 and affinity mask 14 FYI, you could have problems with these because, for Affinity Mask, it is a different value depending on whether you have Hyperthreading turned on or off. You might have had it disabled in the BIOS but then you just reset your system to Optimized Defaults and that turns Hyperthreading back on. So it is good you removed them from your config. You need to get your system stable before you go tweaking things. Best regards, Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource! July 4, 201411 yr Author Hi jim i disabled HT again after turning off my OC Reading the avsim fsx setup guide actual fact its true what it states running an i7 you don't need tweaks fsx performs better without those tweaks and i can say from today removing my tweaks i see no difference having them there or not. July 4, 201411 yr But i do have highmemfix=1 and wideaspect tweak Never heard of the wide aspect tweak. The highmemfix=1 in the Graphics section of the fsx.cfg is an actual fix and not considered a tweak. It was accidentally left out of the release of SP2 and Acceleration.
