July 8, 201411 yr Author I think I'm going to go back to DX9 and not bother. It seems like it takes quite a bit of setup, and I'm happy with DX9. I also have an ATI card and it requires yet another program to run in the background for AA which I don't want to deal with. I made a backup of my .cfg so I'm going to just drop it back in FSX and forget I tried this.
July 8, 201411 yr So I switched to DX10 last night. After a few drinks. Probably a bad idea. It's SUPER smooth, and looks a touch better, however the street lights look like black boxes. This is WITHOUT the fixer. I wanted to see what it was like. Will the fixer get rid of those? Yes, the fixer will correct the black boxes around lights, and probably about 95% of other graphics anomalies caused by using DX10 in FSX. Unfortunately, the fixer has been withdrawn from sale by the author - at least for the time being. Hopefully it will return at some point in the future. July 9, 201411 yr Yes with the fixer you do not have any problem anymore. It's super easy. Philipp Schwaegerl
July 9, 201411 yr Author Super easy? Maybe if I had an Nvidea card. I dunno. Not right now at least. Also I hear you can't buy it any more. Must be a sign.
