In recent months a rather annoying inadvertent activation of the 'Off Schedule Descent Check-list' is occurring, despite not saying any words near that phrase. This can and does happen on the ground during the pre-flight, the result been unable to set the cruise altitude on the cabin pressurisation panel as it keeps winding back. Even the FO cannot set the ALT during his pre-flight.

 

Despite re-installing the NGX & FS2C I cannot get rid of the problem.

Try using Hard Mute whenever possible.

 

Generally though, the longer the phrase, the less likely it is to be picked up erroneously.

The problem can occur starting any phrase, no idea why this crept in after so long. Hard mute is nearly always used during quiet periods.

 

Should the package be developed further Bryan perhaps a way to limit the action in duration allowing a higher altitude to be dialled back in on the pressurisation panel?

That's curious.  Try running the voice training again.  Our code doesn't change.  Something changed on your end.

 

In a future update (maybe when PMDG releases SP2 if they ever do), I can add such a condition as you described.
