July 19, 201411 yr Hi folks... Using win 7/64, AMD Processor 3.2 ghz, integrated graphics card, 10 gb ram. When I hit the Alt Key and the 'menu' selections appear as expected. When I choose Level D, PMDG or FSCUIP I get a black screen. With FSCUIP, I can hit ESC and it returns to the sim, with the PMDG and Level D, I have to crash out the sim in order to have any response. Anybody experience this? Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Don't blame for my name, my parents were hippies and met in Woodstock
July 19, 201411 yr This sounds like a graphics issue and may be caused by your "integrated graphics card" not being up to the job. Try the following: 1. Go to your FS9.exe file and right click. Under compatibility, tick the boxes for "disable desktop composition" and "disable visual themes". 2. Run the sim in Windowed mode, not in Full Screen mode. I had the same issues when I moved to windows7, running with a ADM/ATI video card. Following the above procedures eliminated the problem. Peter Schluter
