July 19, 201411 yr Flight Simulator X\Scenery\Global\Texture\BridgeRoads.dds ...and you also have P3D installed...just do a system search for this file...and the search will turn up this file in P3D. Take a copy of this file and put it into the above path...and all will be well. It is the same file for both P3D and FSX. ORBX Central will then not bring up the fact that it is not found. Again, you will be a happy camper. For some reason the UTX uninstaller also deletes this ONE file....and it is a core file.
July 19, 201411 yr Thank you very much indeed for this warning Sesquashtoo! I haven't uninstalled UTX yet, but intend to do so now that I have ORBX LC Europe installed. I can now make a safe copy of that file before running into trouble (I don't have P3D installed). Probably you 'saved the butt' of many FSX users. Cheers, René René Bongers

July 19, 201411 yr I haven't uninstalled UTX yet, but intend to do so now that I have ORBX LC Europe installed. Why not just deselect the landclasses in UTX, by uninstalling it you are going to lose the UTX coastlines
July 20, 201411 yr Hi mad dog, That's interesting. It has always been my understanding that the combination Vector/OpenLC would make UTX redundant. Before LC came out I still used some features of UTX, but I was convinced that coastlines were depicted by Vector. Anyway I have disabled all UTX entries in the FSX scenery library and as far as I can see there are no problems with coastlines. Or are you saying that UTX coastlines are better/more accurate? Kind regards, René René Bongers
July 20, 201411 yr Author Thank you very much indeed for this warning Sesquashtoo! I haven't uninstalled UTX yet, but intend to do so now that I have ORBX LC Europe installed. I was lucky to also have had P3D 2.2 installed...so 'borrowed' a copy back to FSX. Yes..if you make a copy of that file...you will be fine...just put it back in after the uninstall. I love how Vector is looking, especially the rocky coastlines of the North West. I'm soon to have FSX2010 (Pilot's) installed..and on my merry way. I liked UTX..but had Vector for P3D..and it was inevitable that after I downloaded OpenLC for South America...I'd want vector coverage..and as Vector is world-wide...was a no brainer.... Why not just deselect the landclasses in UTX, by uninstalling it you are going to lose the UTX coastlines That's true..but in now running vector in FSX...truly prefer what I see over what had been, using UTX. I now have world coverage in FSX...and that is required for my needs, Mad Dog. Ses
