Cleaning Up Company Routes

Featured Replies

I noticed that there are hundreds of company routes (auto saved files)

when I try to open Company routes in FMC.

Is there any way to clean up (delete) all these auto saved files?

Under FSX's saved flights, I only have 3 auto saved flights via FSUIPC.

I don't know where NGX FMC is getting all these saved company flights.

Any tips on how to clean them up, where to look, is appreciated.

Try,

FSX Installation Directory/PMDG/FLIGHTPLANS/777 and delete the .rte files in there. You might also want to clear the WX folder inside the PMDG folder if you've been using a flight planner that exports a specific WX file for each flight you've done in the past.

Don't forget \FSX root folder\PMDG\FLIGHTPLANS and also \FSX root folder\PMDG\FLIGHTPLANS\NGX.

Are you writing about routes or flights. A route has only one file. A flight might have up to seven files.

This is most likely because you are using the autosave option in FSUIPC. You need to add the below to the FSUIPC4.ini so that the autosave feature automatically deletes those extra files that the 777 creates. I am posting my whole autosave section so you can easily see what its like, you only really need the bit highlighted in red, but this whole section gives you a better idea how to format it.

You will need to manually delete any existing files as it will only manage any new saves that are deleted after you apply this setting.

Cheers, Andy.
