What Weights To Put In Pfpx Profile For 777-300?

Recommended Posts

Hi

I made a new profile for the 777-300 for PFPX. But does anybody know the correct weights to put in?

And how to distribute the cargo weights as PFPX gives a total cargo but the fmc in the 777 has divided cargo.

Why bother making a new one when there is one already coming with PFPX,

Why bother making a new one when there is one already coming with PFPX,

Because the one that comes with PFPX does not have the right weights for the PMDG 300ER.

@wildblue. I use the following (in lbs) for my PMDG 777-300ER profile

Empty Weight  369,365

Max ZFW 524,000

Max Take off 775,000

Max Ramp 775,000

Max Landing 554,000

Pax capacity 354

Cargo capacity 85,605

When I set Max load in PFPX, I get the max ZFW of 524,000, so the figs seem right (came from the .cfg file for the 300, and cargo is the sum of the cargo loads set in the payload screen for forward, aft and bulk cargo holds if you request a SET MAX load).

As for splitting pax weights and cargo weights between forward, aft and bulk holds if loading less than max pax and cargo, the easiest is to just enter in the PFPX planned ZFW, and let the PMDG load screen distribute it around for you. In the end who cares if its PAX or Cargo, its the weight that counts in the end for fuel calcs etc.
