August 3, 201411 yr Meh any decent Z97 board is fine these days.... everyone has their favorites.... I'll never buy GB again personally.... and you probably don't like ASUS lol... Full tower - if you don't move it ever it's a great idea but they are huge cases.... even my Corsair 650D which is marketed as mid tower is huge huge huge. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
August 4, 201411 yr Corsair cases are nice. I love my mid-tower. Plenty of space. I will second the ASRock mobo. I have the Z77 Extreme4 (which I know is not the right socket for your needs), and it's a nice board for what you pay. The BIOS is also very user friendly. My only recommendation is to strongly consider P3Dv2 - you don't need a setup guide and 2 free days to install FSX.
