Systems Tests

Featured Replies

After reading books written by airline pilots and watching cockpit dvd's I notice that before each flight the crew will preform various tests such as, flight control stby hyd, standby pwr, apu fire warn, eng fire warn, cargo fire warn, pressurization etc.  but all of this is absent from the normal procedures section of the manuals for the 777 and ngx.  Are these tests routinely performed by the crew before each flight in the real world?

Usually first flight of the day.

Read the PMDG-777-FCOMv1 PDF page 191-254 supplied with the PMDG 777.

It´s a very detailed checklist going through all tests etc.
