Landing at kjac is tough!

Featured Replies

I had a full pmdg 737. Wet conditions. Flaps 40. Autobreak 3. Over shot my spot just by a bit and overran the runway. That's a tough landing for sure. But fun!

Yeah I went there once in the NG, topcat said that auto brake 3 wouldn't be enough, had to use autobrake max. It was fun though.

If you are up for a similar challenge, try Key West Int'l (KEYW) and airlines do use the 737-700 there. The runway is 4801 ft by 100 ft.

Yeah I'll use autobreak max next time. Didn't help that I floated the runway with like 5 feet to go. Next time I'll get it

But what a cool flight from kden to kjac in overcast conditions. Soo cool.

Yes, I love flying into KJAC..................however, you really need to get your speed under control and some flaps set  prior to starting descent down from QUIRT using the following approach link.

The best version of the A/C to fly into and out of this airport is the 737-600 or 737-700......lower landing speeds and lighter weight.
