Night Environment Next Project Request

Featured Replies

OK I bought the Dubai NE from PC Aviator..but it only has FSX install. not the P3D v2.x

Hmm.. I am hoping after I Install, I can manually modify the P3D scenery.cfg file and it would be ok

Hi Manny, Thank you for purchasing NE Dubai and supporting our work

if you don’t have a P3D installer your using v1 instead of v1.1

please contact PCAviator shop and ask them to update their versions to v1.1; v1 doesnt support P3D!

Dubai has a completely new rendition to the whole project in v1.1, and new models and textures!

Hmmm I just redirected it to the fsx folders and I got this V1.0 I believe WOW! Amazing!

Thanks Manny, v1.1 will make your jaw drop ^_^

i had received some comments from real people who fly there; i revised accordingly in v1.1

the textures used in v1 will have a white triangle when up close under P3D rendering engine; this was fixed in v1.1 for P3D

don’t forget to disable FT's default night texture to fully enjoy NE

i posted a tool under Aerosoft's support section that does the job for you

which version of P3D are you currently on?

I am on 2.4

Hmm..about turning off the night textures.. I had issues with the CA night Env  doing that.. since I move all my sceneries to another drive after I install (I do not like sceneries in my P3D or FSX folders... and I change the scenery.cfg. Not sure if that is preventing the tool from disabling the files.

that is the reason,

where the tool is posted; you will also find the manual process to disable these textures

Another thing..you should do entire Hong Kong and MAcau together.

Can you please post the link to Aerosoft support thread?

I tried registering NE Dubai in Aerosoft but it is not listed.. Hmmm

if you buy via Aerosoft shop you should have the link to update inside the manager software

im not sure how its done via PCAviator shop

I have the CA NE..but I don't remember being this good like I am seeing in Dubai.. WOW! Impressive!  And I am yet to update to the right version. You should partner more with Fly Tampa.. Their product and yours combined is what make Dubai one spectaculor location.

Thats why please please do Hongkong and Macau (There is a MAcau from Taxi2gate I believe...  so this too could be as good as Dubai.

Aerosoft needs to redo all their city scenery with night textures for buildings...then you can combine with NE.

Chris how do I disable the night textures in MEgascenery CA? any ideas?

i posted a tool for that too; should work with custom location as well!

(the tool should also be located inside your install folder)

I don't think I am going to be flying anywhere else ... Dubai is good for NE..because FPS is manageable.

Hi Manny

with any NE region; there's allot more configuration options then the standard manual describes, far beyond the 3 preconfigured levels we supply with our regions,

did you receive your copy of the advance Night Environment manual?

Hi chris, I'm intrigued by your mention of a more detailed manual with additional teeaking options. I've temporarily disabled both NEUK & NECA because I think they are causing my system to stutter even on the lowest standard option. If there are things i can try to reduce or eliminate these occasional small stutters then I'd be very keen to try them

Hi Soppie
I’m glad our customers read my posts and pay attention

yes, indeed we do have an advance manual for advance users

By default Night Environment arrives with 7 different visual variations

Option 1 - Only Level 0 is activated

allowing third party lighting system to work with our Custom Night Texture

or simply replacing FSX/P3D/3Rd Party or Photoreal default Night textures regardless of lighting system

Option 2 - Base is activated With Level 1 (Level 0 Is Off)

While Level 0 is turned off; allowing Our standalone 3D Lighting system to work over default FSX/P3D/3Rd Party Night textures or Photoreal at 25% intensity

Option 3 - Base is activated With Level 2 (Level 0 Is Off)

While Level 0 is turned off; allowing Our standalone 3D Lighting system to work over default FSX/P3D/3Rd Party Night textures or Photoreal at 50% intensity

Option 4 - Base is activated With Level 3 (Level 0 Is Off)

While Level 0 is turned off; allowing Our standalone 3D Lighting system to work over default FSX/P3D/3Rd Party Night textures or Photoreal at 100% intensity

Option 5 - Base is activated +Level 0 + Level 1

This is Full Night Environment Visuals as intended; Our  3D Lighting System is turned on at 25% intensity as well as our Custom Night Textures

This completely replaces Default Night Textures for FSX/P3D/Photoreal/3Rd Party, with our Custom Night Textures and 3D Lighting System

Option 6 - Base is activated +Level 0 + Level 2

This is Full Night Environment Visuals as intended; Our 3D Lighting System is turned on at 50% intensity as well as our Custom Night Textures

This completely replaces Default Night Textures for FSX/P3D/Photoreal/3Rd Party, with our Custom Night Textures and 3D Lighting System

Option 7 - Base is activated +Level 0 + Level 3

This is Full Night Environment Visuals as intended; Our 3D Lighting System is turned on at 100% intensity as well as our Custom Night Textures

This completely replaces Default Night Textures for FSX/P3D/Photoreal/3Rd Party, with our Custom Night Textures and 3D Lighting System

Night Environment Architectural design is extremely modular
And allows for further tweaking beyond the preconfigured Levels/Variations
for those who run with heavy Sim or just want to further tweak their visuals to their specific requirements

the advance manual is provided by AS support on need/request basis

I don't have the advance manual.. I have the basic one that talks about the disabling and enabling the Level 0-3 thingi. How do I get the uipdated manual?

BTW..is there a way to make the light size a tad smaller? I think it would be better  (I could be wrong) if they were smaller but with the star lighting. You know what I mean, and up the maximum number of lights... I think for Dubai I can get away with it without too much adverse affect on FPS.
