ASN upgrade from AS2012

Featured Replies

I have AS2012 if I upgrade to ASN will I lose the use of my AS2012 graphics textures.

Cheers

I was wondering the same thing, but it sure looks like it. It's the one thing that is preventing me from getting the new version.

Why should I have to pay to use a product that actually takes away something else I paid for? Don't make sense to me.

Tony (That's all your getting, like it or lump it)

MSFS, P3D v5  i7-7700 Kaby Lake CPU @ 3.60 GHz, 3601 Mhz, 4 Cores (Liquid cooled) Gigabyte B250M-DS3H-CF M/Board 32 Gig DDR4 Ram Nvidia GTX 1080ti 11MB GDDR 5 Win 10 Home Acer Predator XB271HU.

It will not, you can use ASN for WX and AS2012 for textures and both of them can work side by side, there is a thread on the hifi forums which explains in detail how to do this its not that complicated have a look in the forums.

I do not use AS textures instead i use REX4 Textures regardless you can achieve what you just mentioned and it will not take away anything you have paid for, if you require further support open a support ticket and hifi should be more than happy to put you in the correct path

Make sure you purchase the upgrade as it is cheaper and you will need your original serial from your 2012 purchase and the above poster is correct
