This is an issue with the Windows Icon cache...If you just search online on how to refresh windows icon cache this will fix the issue...you basically will need to delete a specific folder containing your cached icons, then restart windows and everything will be back to normal

Since VFX central is the hub for everything i just want to know if it is compulsory that VFX central is open separately or when firing up FSX for effects to appear?or can i simply open vfx central, install the effects i require, apply them and not have it open while FSX is running? Hi The 777 immersion user manual states that in order for effects to appear the engines need to be turned on. For most of the effects yes i understand. However, Does this mean that if my engines are off and the aircraft is parked at a gate the raindrops effect will not work even if the wx is rainy outside or is there any exception to just this effect? Checking on this as i experienced the same where i did not see any raindrops effect while parked at the gate and engines were shut off. Hope someone could help Thanks

Hi After quite sometime i thought id post here for help as im not sure what more to do anymore. I switched sometime back from DX9 to DX10 using the FSX DX10 Scenery Fixer tool. Although ever since the change ive been experiencing not so good looking water textures as I used to experience with DX9. I have enabled DX10 Wave Animation on the REX 4 Texture Direct Settings too still with not luck. Below are a few images of how water textures looked on DX9 and then on DX10. Also need to mention that if im flying towards the sun on DX10 mode i can clearly and properly see wave animations and textures at lower altitudes. But when i climb higher this seems to go off as well. on DX9 i did not experience this Hope someone could help and give some info on what could be done?Below are some screenshots which would explain what im experiencing on DX10 and how it looked on DX9 DX10 - at higher altitudes still doesnt look good plus it appears static without wave animation Here are some shots taken with DX9 Mode Appreciate some help with fixing this Regards

Instead of spending time troubleshooting, i suggest the best thing to do would be to uninstall FS2rew completely, restart the pc, re-install the latest version of fs2crew for the 777 and then give it a try Regards

Hi Im experiencing a somewhat simmilar issue with high VAS usage suddenly ever since i updated to v1.2 However my issue is not 777-immersion specific rather with PrecipitFx its self. Im not sure why but im experiencing OOM's very often since the update and my VAS usage is so high. The same flights i did before updating i had no issues, only after the update Not sure why, appreciate some help

Thanks Keven I had a few OOM's with a few long haul flights and it was fairly consistent i had to repeat these flights about 4 times before having the re-add those lines after which i did not get the OOM error and was able to complete the flight. Not sure why

Hi Need some help and clarification on enabling wingtip vortices for aircrafts such as PMDG since it by default disabled. Do i need to disable "vaportrail_l=" and "vaportrail_r=" on all 3 aircraft.cfgs?(-300, 200LR and 200F) seperately? Also has is there any concern where enabling these settings cause OOM's? Thanks

Hi Just to verify if the FO is supposed to turn off the center fuel pumps or if its the captains responsibility to do that? During several long hauls i noticed that the FO does not turn off the center fuel pumps Regards

A full uninstall and re-install fixed it, everything seems alright now, really enjoying this

Hi 1. It was showing me Before Takeoff checklist state. I have the printed tutorial thus i follow every step 2. I use voice control and for both departure and approach briefs i use the brief panel. I do not do the brief via voice even though i use the voice control. Im not sure why but i can confirm the FO did not perform the decent flow as per the briefing Thanks & regards

Hi Im not sure if its only me or if its something to do from my end. Version 1.1 firstly seems to be really good, although two things i came across with two transatlantic flights i did 1. Before taxi i used the phrase "Clear Left" this should trigger the FO to turn on the Runway Turn Off Lights and Taxi Lights but this did not happen?FO did not do anything 2. Running the Approach brief did not trigger the FO to perform his actions (select vfred, auto break etc) and i manually had to do it. Am i doing something wrong or is there any setting i have not enabled? Thanks & Regards
