i red that i need to instal fsx load the sim and then load any aircraft then close the sim restart the computer

and the instal the acceleartion pack

 

my question do i need to press the fly now button or just load an aircraft and close?

and does the highmemfix=1 importand to put in the fsx.cfg

I'm not sure about the first question, but I have always started the default flight with the trike over Friday Harbor (so yes, I clicked "Fly Now"). I've never changed the plane, but still everything worked fine for me so far.

For the second question: Definitely put that to the [GRAPHICS] section of your FSX.cfg, it's a quite important fix as far as I am aware.

or

Put it the second way:

[Graphics]

Highmemfix=1

 

(Just to be sure: The [Graphics] does already exist in your FSX.cfg, just look for it and add the entry to that section)

It's a good idea to start a flight (Hit Fly Now) after installing FSX, before installing Acceleration.

 

The same thing if installing Sp1 and Sp2.

 

In the FSX.cfg under [Graphics] it should look like this.

but according to article from pmdg

 

run the sim once going through the validation process and then loading it up to the point where you see the main interface you dont need to load to the sim itself just load an aircraft or anything

so we dont need to hit the fly now button before instal the acceleration pack

Also I have a lot of orbx scenery and airports do I need to run fsx after each instal of a scenery and airport

If your installing  the acceleration pack don't  install sp1  and sp2  since  the accel pack has it included
