August 29, 201411 yr Commercial Member Nice shots Ryan! I really enjoyed the Baytower RV7 but confess I haven't flown it for a while since getting hold of my beloved new (old) Cherokee. I'm also seriously tempted by that ORBX scenery, as I used to use KMRY as my 'default airport' for a while (because of all the nice scenery and interesting little airports in the vicinity). Cheers, Nick P.S. How did you manage to embed images from Photobucket? It didn't want to let me, so I used Dropbox in the end. Nick M - A2A Simulations
August 30, 201411 yr very nice shots Ryan The RV is still a favorite, such a little Swiss army knife. It is the only plane that I know of that can that could take off from MRY with 2 people and 100lbs of bags, fly to Idaho back country at a reasonable cruise speed ~160KTAS while sipping Lyc O-360 type GPH fuel rates with some aerobatics along the way, knife through the canyons like a fighter, plunk down on a really short challenging strip like Dewey Moore, takeoff in 800', fly IFR somewhere and shoot an instrument approach down to minimums lol. The Cherokee is an awesome experience for sure, a true aircraft ownership sim, the RV is still the choice for the proverbial virtual camping trip If the RV-7 were ever accusimmed....as George Takei says....'oooh my!'....as it is now Accufeel works very well.
