April 1, 200521 yr Hi all,My nephew is graduating from Naval flight school shortly and will be flying a P-3, which I am told is a four engine military aircraft. Is the P-3 aircraft -- or its civilian equivalent, if there is one -- available for FS 2004?I sure would love to experience, at least through simulation, what my nephew will be flying! Thanks for any help.-Rick
April 1, 200521 yr Author Hi Rick,Mike Stone has a very nicely modeled one... no panel or VC. There is a project nearing completion that will be incredible, you can see screenshots here: http://flightinfo.ens.ne.jp/FS_KBT/d_y_a.htmLet's hope it gets released this month, eh?Zane Dr Zane Gard Sr Staff Reviewer AVSIM Private Pilot ASEL since 1986 IFR 2010 AOPA 00915027 American Mensa 100314888
April 1, 200521 yr >Let's hope it gets released this month, eh?>>ZaneI've been hoping that for a couple of months now, Zane. But with that and CS' C-130, all we need is a couple of hurricane hunter repaints, and a biloxi afcad, and I'm all set!Best,sg [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)
April 1, 200521 yr I think there is a keesler afb afcad. Isn't that where the hurrican hunter squadron is? I was stationed there for a while, I remember the runway was too small for our AWACS :)Jeff Jeff Commercial | Instrument | Multi-Engine Land AMD 5600X, RTX3070, 32MB RAM, 2TB SSD

April 1, 200521 yr Gratz to your nephew. I used to work on P-3s (NAS Barbers Pt, HI / ETD-032 (CinCPacFlt) 1990 - 1993) and they are a hoot. I'd love to see my old squadron's version, but I think the public's wants lean towards the sub-hunter and weather/hurricane hunter variants... not some VIP-transport.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/110962.jpg
April 1, 200521 yr No need to search, here is where it is, just go to FS2004 downloads:http://afcad.projectai.comJeff Jeff Commercial | Instrument | Multi-Engine Land AMD 5600X, RTX3070, 32MB RAM, 2TB SSD

April 1, 200521 yr "Let's hope it gets released this month, eh?"Unfortunatly, no, the last I heard was that the team were aiming for a May release, looks pretty bloody good though.Dan.

I was there from 1992-95 and currently serving my second tour with Executive Transport at Kaneohe. And 675 and 605 still going stong. Though, 675's currently in PDM(used to be called SDLM).605 is slated to be replaced in late 2006 and 675 in 2007 with VC-37'sAs far as P-3's for FS9. There are ZERO worth anything, the Mike Stone version is no more than a L-188 with a mad-boom. Makes for a so-so AI aircraft an that's about it. The FS_KBT model is looking like a May release.:-outtahttp://publish.hometown.aol.com/p3superb/i...s/sign_name.jpgThere is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".- unknown"My daddy gives me up, to fight for you"- a US Military Members Child
