September 12, 201411 yr Commercial Member Gregg, Thanks for your feedback. I will check out the approaches you mention and see what I can do to smooth them out and get the altitudes correct. It could be I need to change the logic when you call for an approach without a flight plan. Thanks, Dave
September 12, 201411 yr Author Thanks Dave. A typical approach controller would vector the airplane to intercept the approach no closer to 2 miles from the final approach fix.
