Razbam Metroliner & Frame Rates / performance

Featured Replies

I recently bought the Razbam Metroliner - I don't know how I missed this one until now - it's a beauty.

One thing I am seeing though is relatively low frame rates, like for like, compared to all other aircraft add-ons I have.   The Razbam Metroliner is giving me around 22 FPS average, in settings where I'd get 30 in the NGX, 777, or AXE, which is pretty surprising.     It's fine in the air, this seems to be happening when it's on the ground, in add-on airports.

What sort of performance / frames are others seeing from this add-on?  .... is it the textures, perhaps?   Any tips for improving performance with this add-on?

Thanks,

No Metroliner drivers out there got any anecdotes or views to share on the above?

Personally, I see no FPS impact when I fly the Metroliner - but then this is for P3D v2.3. Sorry I can't vouch for FSX.

I haven't noticed anything in terms of it affecting framerates in FSX, at least nothing at all like the impact of the NGX.

It turned out to be something that I will rarely take out of the hanger, and as such I probably shouldn't of purchased it, but that's another story.

Milviz Person.

Owned it since the day of release - no problems with frame rates at all.

Thanks for the reports - mmm, strange one.   It is quite considerably heavier than the NGX at this end (which didn't seem right to me).  May try a reinstall in case something has went awry.
