Scam Alert! AirGlobalX (OOM Fixer) and FlightReal are the same entity

Featured Replies

I apologize ahead of time if this is in the wrong place but I want to head off any speculation immediately before people debate the legitimacy of AirGlobalX.  Recently a new set of OOM scams has been published in the form of "AirGlobalX" if you notice on their site, the design (and HTML) code are identical in many ways, also their refund policy is identical.  Please beware.  Doing a google search it appears they are also trying to sell off what I presume to be someone else's airbus like FlightReal sold off someone else's scenery.  Here is some evidence:

1.  Obvious spam on flightsim.com:

http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?282422-Airglobalx-OOM-Fixer-Out-of-Memory&p=1877093

2.   Compare FlightReal and AirGlobalX HTML source code and refund policy

3.   Previous attempt at scamming out freeware Airbus:

http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?281843-AirglobalX-A340-review (If you google AirGlobalX) you can find an older version of their website under "stealthproxy" that has the airbus purchase link.  It appears in that thread they identified it as a freeware Airbus A340 by Thomas Ruth.

4.  iFlySimX and AirDailyX identifying the scam.

This is blatantly obvious so please don't give in and I hope this helps head off any speculation at all.  I wish there was a way to rid this small hobby of this cancer...I have a feeling all these scams are different versions from the same group/person

Thanks for pointing this out! I will pin this topic for now, so that hopefully everyone will find it easily.

Florian

And I will unpin and send this over to Hangar Chat where we have other discussions about this scam.
