I am seriously thinking about purchasing the Horizon VFR GenX Ireland photoscenery. I have ORBx Republic of Ireland and Aerosoft Dublin X, but I really do prefer photoscenery to (admittedly pretty decent) landclass scenery. However, ORBx landclass scenery looks better in rural areas, because the harsh outlines of urban areas (even though they have plenty of 3D buildings) just telegraph "not real" to my brain! If Treescapes was available for the Ireland photoscenery I would have made my decision ages ago, but I still think that seeing those nice water masks, significantly greater coastline detail (this can look rather ugly in landclass scenery), and realistic terrain images will be worth the money. It should also improve performance considerably around Aerosoft Dublin X!

Yeah...the water masking shallow water channeling, mud flats, coast lines make VFR Gen X really special!
