September 10, 201411 yr Just wanted to ask if the Win81/Joystick Problem has been solved - Please, understand, that I did not wanted to go through that 52 pages 'megathread' here. I would be really happy if anybody could confirm that P3Dv2x, Windows 8.1 and Saitek X52 work together now. Cheers, Harry - Harry 9800x3D (Strix x870e-E) - 64GB RAM (DDR5 6000, CL 30) - RTX 5090, 34'' 1440p OLED HDR - Windows 11 Pro (1TB M.2) - MSFS 2024 (MS Store, 4TB M.2).
September 10, 201411 yr Yep, it works 100% with P3Dv2x on Windows 8.1. I have been using P3Dv2 on Windows 8.1 64bit from day one. I dunno about Saitek, as I do not have that. I just have a simple thrustmaster hotas-x How I Evaluate Third Party Sim Addon Developers Refined P3Dv5.0 HF2 Settings Part1 (has MaddogX) and older thread Part 2 (has PMDG 747)
September 10, 201411 yr FSUIPC fixes it. For FSX. P3D yup. David Graham Google, Network+, Cisco CSE, Cisco Unity Support Specialist, A+, CCNA
September 10, 201411 yr Author Thank you for your answers. I had tried P3Dv2.0 with windows 8.1 some time ago but I ran into troubles with my Saitek X52. Even with FSUIPC there were still some quirks. Now I am going to set up a new system that's why I'm asking.
