September 12, 201411 yr Has anyone tried running one PC with FSX and one with P3D V2 and they connect mulitplayer? I've never used MP for either, so I have no experience at all. Last MP flight was WAAAY BACK in 2000 or earlier with FS98! Thanks Eric Tomlin Flight Line Simulations www.FlightLineSimulations.com
September 12, 201411 yr I seriously doubt it will work. If I have FSX open and try to open P3D, it gives me an error that a flight simulator is already running and I have to shut it down first. September 12, 201411 yr I have fsx on 1 desktop for the kids and P3Dv2 on mine. They are not multiplayer compatible. Regards, Vital Vanbeginne
September 15, 201411 yr Author Thanks to both of you. Great info! Eric Tomlin Flight Line Simulations www.FlightLineSimulations.com
October 22, 201411 yr It is working if you stick i.ex. to FSCloud (FSCloud.net) as multiplayer platform. They combine FSX, P3D and XPlane.
October 22, 201411 yr FSCloud, IVAO, VATSIM are only options for simmers using different platforms. Serwers from FSOpen are different for FSX and P3D unfortunately.
October 23, 201411 yr Author So it will work for VATSIM? YES! Thanks! Eric Tomlin Flight Line Simulations www.FlightLineSimulations.com
