September 21, 201411 yr Pilots, I have fallen in love with flying in Canada especially in Vancouver / Alert Bay / Terrace and now Stewart and flying the Bush Wagon along with the Twin Otter. Anyone from Canada or real / mountain pilots could tell me other beautiful places especially in XPX . As in XPX all of Canada does not look that good or maybe I am missing something. I have the Z17 photoscenery and CYYZ airport for Toronto (thought I would visit my cousin there:) ) and it looks horrible, so downloading the HD Mesh 2 for Toronto area. Appreciate all inputs. September 21, 201411 yr Moderator If you're looking for similar scenery in Europe, then the often neglected Northern Norway can't be missed. Simheaven have photoscenery for the entire area with HD Mesh and OSM coverage for woodland is quite decent.

The HD Mesh is the way to go for Canada; soon, there will be HD Mesh v3, with even more detailed represenation of Canada. Free photoscenery is only as good as the sources it relies upon, and there are many places that simply don't have high quality sources. You mean simheaven will contain both the Photo and the Mesh ? SimHeaven's photoscenery has the HD mesh as base, then puts photo textures on top. For the U.S. and Canada, the "naked" HD mesh (get it from alpilotx.net) looks better most of the time.
