777-300ER - Left Engine not spinning

Featured Replies

Hi,

I bought the PMDG 777-300ER expansion today, but noticed when the engines are started, with both engines running, the left engine is not spinning, its missing the animations, the right engine looks pefefct. screen shot below.

Advanced Animations in FSX settings. Turn it on and see if that helps,

Hi xkoote,

Advanced animations is on, the right engine is working fine, it is only the left engine that is not spinning.

Does this happen with all liveries or only one particular one?  When you switch liveries, you need to load the default Trike/ultralite flight or restart FSX.

Glad it's fixed.  Just to avoid unnecessary delay, when you start FSX, as long as the Ultralite/trike displays in the FSX opening window, you don't need to actually load that flight.  You can immediately select a 777, airfield, etc., or choose a previously saved 777 flight.  But if you reload a 777 flight or switch liveries, best to reload the Ultralite default flight or at least switch to a Cessna in between.  Best is to restart FSX.
