FSX Scenery Madeira in Fs9

Hi,

 

I'm ver intersted int the Madeira scenery from aerosoft. But it's only running on FSX. Anyone know if it works in Fs9 anyway? Anyone treid to convert the textures? Or does anyone know a good madeira sceney FS9. I know there's Wonderfull Madeira, but it's too old

"FS2004 Madeira Islands (Portuguese) Improvement Pack"  (freeware) at Simviation does improve upon PTSim's "Wonderful Madeira" payware from Aerosoft.

the pack linked by Appliance contains some screenshots.

There's, however, the scenery pack by Toni Agramont, containing the whole island, but if the Aerosoft scenery is too old for you than you won't like Tonis work. It's very old fashioned.

 

Where did you search yourself so far?

until now I asked google. I found only one freeware scenery, but it's older than the Aerosoft Madeira Scenery and it doesn't look good.

Probably won't be under "what's new", but www.freewarescenery.com/fs2004 will show current/past.  Just look under Portugal.

I had one - freeware - but it had poor fps nearing the island. I think from all the little houses and buildings it sticks on it. Plus the taxi ways weren't done correctly and was showing dirt as you went along it. Kinda poor effort.

 

That must have been the Agramont scenery, this was his style indeed.

The old Aerosoft scenery with the texture update by Stas Jessy is still pretty decent looking, and is AES compatible too.  Your best bet in FS9.
