antialising doesn't work in dx10 though does it??...I yes I have orbx norcal which is the one im talking about. u said you went from a 660 to a 780 right? how how many fps did u gain

No that was the original thread poster.  I went from a 560Ti and an i7-860 to a 4790K and a 780.  I guess overall I gained about 5fps because I lock it at 30.  Before I had to lock at 25 with planes like the NGX and even then I would hit the upper teens if I tried to land somewhere like SFO.  So in the big areas I guess I nearly doubled my FPS with high detail settings as well.

660GTX Ti to a 780GTX gained about 5--7 fps I guess, BUT, it was smoothness that was the real winner. Stutters are gone other than at heavy scenery airports in complex weather
