October 9, 201411 yr Hi all, I recently installed AirTrafficManager (latest version) and all went fine. Yesterday, I discovered midflight that I forgot to launch the program after Prepar3D startup. So, I did launch the software midflight. A few minutes later, Prepar3D stopped working and had to close down because of a problem. Since then, whenever launching P3D, after a few minutes, the program shuts down (with or without AITrafficManager active). I discovered that when I don't launch MyTraffic (via the CFG), the probleme is gone. I would be very gratefull for any advise on how to fix this. Best regards, Jos W8.1 64 bits Prepar3D 2.4

October 9, 201411 yr My P3D Modus Operendi, is to fire up P3D.x, then ASN, then the AirTrafficManager app. I don't have any issues with MyTraffic 5.4c. I suggest you rebuild your MyTraffic with the Communicator program that comes with MyTraffic and see if that clears things up. I have found P3D (in general across all updates) to be very finicky, even to having to delete and then rebuild your Shaders, etc. I used to (always have with FSX...) always fire up ASN, or any weather program first, before FSX, and never had a CTD. With P3D, I find that if I do that as well...there is a good chance that at the end of the initialize stage, just where you'd think you will SHADER out to your flight (airport), I would (not always..but enough times...) CTD to with a P3D had a fatal error message. I really think that P3D.x needs, with nothing else connected to it, to drop you to your airport, before anything else is added to the sim.
October 9, 201411 yr Author It happened again, this time mid flight. October 9, 201411 yr Have you rebuilt the Mtx plans using the communicator? Try using the 2012 plans, I recall I had P3d crashes with the latest year plans.
October 9, 201411 yr Author Hi, I did what you suggested and took 2012 as Mtx plans. I repeated the same flight and this time, I got to my destination without a problem. So, thank you for your help. This means AirTrafficManager had nothing to do with Prepar3D crashing but it would be MyTraffic that was the culprit. Jos
