G'day folks.. thought I'd start this thread to keep everyone abreast of my latest repaints. It has been a while since I've done much, so I'm riding this wave of sudden motivation. I'll start with the PMDG 777-300/ER paints. I decided I wanted to add a lot of new details to these paints. I've completely redone the fuselage textures, wings, flaps, engines and more. Enjoy!

Stunning as always my old friend!

I painted a bunch of 777 freighters, took a break just as you picked up your brush again!

Great to see excellent paints coming out of your paint hangar again.

I hope to paint a few more 777s before we re-tool our paintshops for the 747 v2! :-)

I know that may be a bit away...but us old time painters will be ready to punch out a few of the Queen.

I fully expect to see a few Qantas 744s out of your paintshop!

It had been a while between paints, feels good to have some motivation back. I need to shrink down my kit so I can paint some LR's & F's. I'll be sure to knock out some Qantas 744's when the time comes!

Fair enough, hehe.....but remember you and I have been painting off and on since some of the young simmers here were flying strollers vs a few hundred tons of Boeing metal. :-).

 

PMDG sure gave us a great paintkit and plane to fly. She's all I fly now, but I'm sure I'll make time to paint and fly v2 of the Queen when they push her out.

Very true Steve! We have been around a while!

 

The plane is great, I'm looking forward to FS2Crew for it. As for the paintkit, I replaced most of it with my own work. I thought it was a bit lacking, and basic to be honest.

Bit more progress on my BA paint..

 

Just added Cathay Pacific to the file library minus the SELCAL. I'll add that when I can find it.
