October 15, 201411 yr There's no description on the STAR that says if you expect vectors or not. So, do you think it's vectored or not? Thanks in advance for the help.

October 15, 201411 yr The BSR2 Arrival is not an RNAV STAR, meaning that ATC will issue altitudes, crossing restrictions, speed restrictions, etc. (they can still do this on an RNAV STAR) Notice how it says "Expect 10,000" at BOLDR. Since this is not an RNAV STAR, ATC may or may not instruct you to cross BOLDR at 10,000. It's simply there to give you an idea of the altitude you can expect there. You are also required to follow the arrival's route until ATC gives you vectors to join final or for traffic, etc. Hope this helps. Gabriel - CYVR
October 15, 201411 yr Look at the ILS CATII/III RWY 28R chart : IAF is MENLO. That's were BIG SUR 2 ends. So no vectoring needed. Martin Bunjes
October 15, 201411 yr Author Thanks guys for the responses. 28L uses MENLO as the IAF also. I guess I'll use 28R to land. Thanks.
