Hello there guys

Whats the most settings that could run x plane 10 and giving the stunning realistic appearance without or with a very slightly performance hit.

My specs is : i7 2600K at 4:9Ghz, ASUS GTX680 DCU2T 2GB , Corsair platinum 8GB 2133MHz.

Hope to obtain a lot of activities to reaching the target as possible.

This is my first using to the x plane 10 & I am very interested to.

Thx

What helps a lot to gain some fps without loosing too much in the visuals departmen is to reduce world distance detail and shadow details in the rendering settings a notch or two.

What kind of fps do you get with your system?

HDR on and number of clouds puffs are very fps sensitive.

16-19

With that machine? wow that's really low. What's described in the posts above is a good start to tune your settings.

With those specs, I'm amazed you're getting such low performance.

As already pointed out, draw distance and shadows are big frame-rate hitter so try turning these down. Also, if using weather, turn down the clouds as low as you can (Or use something like SkyMaxxPro which does a better job with the clouds and much improved FPS). I don't have a particularly powerful computer (far less powerful than yours), but I've found a sweet spot where I get between 20-30fps which is flyable for me.

Also, HDR can be a big killer, but I prefer to leave this on at the expense of frame-rate hit as it transforms night time scenery.
