October 27, 201411 yr Hi All, Congrats for the 777 job. Since the 25th Oct, I’ve made 3 flights to get used and liking it a lot. My mode is “Button”. I have some impressions to share here, but the most remarkable is the FO’s “I am ready for the checklist!” talk which I missed during the pre-flight phase (unless I skipped some other trigger). Using the NGX, the FO says this at all phases and this helps a lot a “distracted” captain, or even one too preoccupied with a complicated flight plan input in the FMC.
