VOXATC over Network

Featured Replies

I've googled it, and searched here in AVSIM, but have not found a definitive answer regarding the ability to run VOXATC over a network.

I'm at the point in my Sim building where I'm going to begin the VOXATC Demo.  It will save me a lot of trial and error time if I can find out whether network operation is possible.

I've also read the VOXATC manual, and could not find any reference to networking in the manual.

Any hep/answer appreciated.

From the VoxATC FAQ page:

Can VoxATC X be run on a 2nd PC via WideFS

No, The current version must run on the same machine as MSFS so that the prompt window can be updated. Future versions will work remotely.

"Future versions will work remotely."  Is there a timescale on this at all, seems like this has been questioned since 2005?

Apparently it should be networkable now but I can't get it to work!

You cannot run VOXATC over a network other than having the AI aircraft server executable on a remote PC.

I am in the trial period of V7 (already have V6) and try in to get VoxATC server to join to VoxATC client

I just cant get them to connect.

Has anyone actually managed to get this running???
