Pulse Light System!

> Someone made a pulse landing light for the Aerosoft Beaver.>They only have one, but mayby could be adapted for your>purpose. They just replaces the landing light with it. I did put together a pulse/hazard light for the Aerosoft Beaver (Bvr_hzrd.zip) which is available at my Yahoo site, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Brent/Anyone interested can download it there for use in the Aerosoft Beaver or merely to study and improve. The fx can be associated with nearly any default FS electrical switch. I did work on a set of dual pulse lights, but found the offset synchronization did not always hold with the default FS setup. I do believe that with further study it could be easily achieved with seperate switches or better yet, a GMAX written code and associated switch by one of our many sim gurus. I originally put the effect together for the GA/bush-type pilots that fly Alaska. Mainly the Ketchikan area where the pulse/hazard lights are widely used in RL due to the high concentration of air traffic coupled with hundreds of boats, ships, kayaks etc. A set of "dual" pulse lights would be great in this area of Alaska for the many GA birds that sport dual LL's and/or taxi lights.

now we have this much to work with. Id really like to see something be done. Id love some Pulse lights. I just gotta learn xml now.. :)

Certainly an idea worth discussing, but I'm not missing them too much in FS myself. In real they look much better because of the smooth dissolving effect when the light goes off. In FS, I guess this cannot be simulated :(

if it could, some one would have to be working pretty hard on the xml coding to get it right...

I hate to drudge up an old topic, but has anyone looked into this since FSX has been released?
