December 24, 201411 yr I have a problem that just started recently. I have the current airac 1413 for Level-d.When i taxi to the rwy and line up with the rwy, the rwy display in the EHSI is to the side.I thought that it was the current airac but when i reinstalled the 1412 same thing. Also when lining up for a ils, the rwy is right in front me all the way down to touch down , BUT in the EHSI the rwy is to the side the glideslope and localizer are are telling me i am off to the side. So trying to figure it out and experiment i found out that the SLEW button Y, lines up the rwy in my EHSI. When not in slew it puts the rwy to the side. I also found out by experimenting that if i start a flight at a rwy, hit slew, crash the plane, it reloads on the same rwy but now my RWY is lined up in the EHSI and all the waypoints on the other end of the rwy are lined up properly. I use Level-d 99% of the time ,but this issue is with other aircraft. Is there a way to fix this without the painful FS9 reinstall. Thanks,Nebojsa
December 25, 201411 yr Have you tried running the Flight1 registry repair utility? http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=library The issue you describe can be related to a corrupted registry. JAFO
December 26, 201411 yr Is there a way to fix this without the painful FS9 reinstall. I have no idea ... but what I would do is to reinstall the backup of the original Airac which came with the LevelD. You did backup, didn't you? That should resolve the issue. Then I would download the current revision of the latest Airac and re-install that. Between installs/re-installs I would take the precaution of rebooting and running apps as Administrator.
December 26, 201411 yr Author I will uninstall Level-d and reinstall it again. That part in not a problem since I have the original level-d disk , and go from there. Thanks.
