Do I need to unregister PMDG 777 ?

Featured Replies

I have my PMDG 777 (777-200LR/F Base Package + 777-300ER Expansion Pack)

installed on my current computer. If I upgrade my OS (Operating System) from

Windows 7 32-bit to 64-bit and need to uninstall FSX until the completion of upgrade,

do I need to unregister PMDG 777 in the FMC and register it again after the reinstall of FSX ?

yes

It's not a requirement, but it'll certainly help you avoid brushing up against the max activations issue. If you run into a max activations issue, then you have to support a ticket and one of us has to manually go in and handle it on our end. If you unregister and re-register, then you'll never have to worry about the above.

The procedure is in the intro manual (Start > All Programs > PMDG Simulations > 777 > Intro Manual).

Also, I have a feeling that your user name is your real name, but it's a forum requirement to have it at the bottom of your post. Thanks!

As mentioned, it's not a requirement. If you have a chance to do it, it'll be a lot faster for you because you won't need to submit a ticket. If you can't help it (system crash, etc), just submit a ticket at support.precisionmanuals.com

Also, while I'm guessing your forum name is your real name, please ensure that you place your name either in the post body, or by configuring a signature. Thanks!
