Sun Glare

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Happy New Year to everyone at PMDG!

I have an issue that only seems tho affect the 777. I am unable to experience the sun glare effect in both the interior views, while it works flawlessly in other aircraft (including the PMDG737). I have the effect activated within the FSX settings.

Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers

I believe in the aircraft.cfg VIEWS Section you will notice the sunglare effect has been disabled :)

Hi,

Unfortunately, I don't have a sunglare effect enabled in any aircraft.cfg, including ones where the sunglare is present in the simulation. Any ideas?

Cheers,

Mark

I only found the option "Splashes In Daylight" (maybe it's you're looking for).

Follow this steps:

* FMC -> PMDG SETUP -> OPTIONS -> SIMULATION -> GO TO PAGE 6/7 -> ENABLE "SPLASHES IN DAYLIGHT"

That's it, I hope it help you, cheers  ^_^

"splashes in daylight" enables you to see the strobes in the daylight

Look for: ShowLensFlare=TRUE

Change the value to FALSE if you do not want any. You can add this line to any section for effects.

Safe & smooth flying,
