Is DX10 mode "fixed" by default in FSX SE?

Recommended Posts

In a post at this forum I quoted today I noticed the author mentioned that simply ticking the DX10 compatibility mode in FSX SE works "out of the box".

Can any of you confirm that indeed FSX SE has the DX10 compatibility issues "solved" ?

I own Steve's wonderful Fixer, but having uninstalled FSX long ago I am no longer using it. Might consider installing it back and running it with FSX SE, but if simply "ticking" in the Graphics Options now does the job in FSX SE, I will stick to it ?

I highly doubt honestly. If DX10 in SE works like a charm with ALL airports/planes, I will switch to it in a blink of an eye.

Current system: ASUS PRIME Z690-P D4, Intel 12900k, 32GB RAM @ 3600mhz, Zotac RTX 3090 Trinity, M2 SSD, Oculus Quest 2.

There would be an even bigger stampede..

I think maybe its DX10 fixer works right out of the box as its compatible
