Hi all,

       I have a problem with my FS2CREW 777. According to the manual, 

when Approach Brief was completed, FO should run his Descend Flow. But sometime my FO does not do that. Anyone know what is the problem?

Are you using the Brief Panel?

 

Can you narrow down "sometimes".

yes,using the brief panel，After setup is complete according to the play Brief，But sometime my FO does not do that。The probability of omission is 90%！

Hmmm, I've looked at the code for this and it's pretty straight forward.

 

The flow should start around 60 seconds after the time you press the Descent Brief.

 

Are you watching the FS2Crew Main Panel... you'll see the text on the main panel when the FO is doing his flow.

 

 

So you're saying you never see any text (FO Descent Flow)?

Yes, can be on the display panel to see <-Descent Flow->, but now I don't see it, do not know why!

The FO will do his descent flow 60 seconds after you press the "Play Approach Brief" button.

 

There are no conditions or required modes that could interfere.

 

It's dead simple.

 

Is the FO performing his flow?  Is he setting the autobrake?

i see,but  I don't see it .

Does the FO set the autobrake about 1 minute after you press Run Approach Brief?

No, what did not happen

Please do this:

 

Load the PMDG 777.

 

Use any panel state.

 

Don't fly for anything, just stay in your current position.

 

Open the FS2Crew Main Panel.

 

Then open the Brief Panel.

 

Then press the Play Approach Brief Button.

 

What happens 60 seconds later?

OK,All right, I'll try it.

It works when I test on the ground. Unfortunately, when I was flying a flight, it still not work neither

Ground or in flight should make no difference.

Just for info... I have just done a couple of flights using the 'Brief Panel' (normally use voice command) to trigger the FO's before descent flow and it worked ok each time.

 

How long before top of descent are you pressing the Brief button, of the above flights I used about 50 miles ?
