Hi guys,

 

Three weeks ago everything worked.

 

What have I done : I installed MSE Italy , MSE Portugal, Photo Real Spain , Night Environment Portugal and Night Environment Italy.

Also REX Soft Clouds.

 

Today I wanted to take a look at Rome how everything looked and found that the airport was really quiet. No AI traffic aircraft.

Checked 4 more airports and also there no AI traffic.

 

I always use MyTraffic, so to ne sure I uninstalled MT.

 

Also I let p3D make a new p3d.cfg file.

In scenery\world\scenery there is the trafficAircraft.bgl file and active.

 

In the p3d.cfg file there is :

All aircraft are in the Simobjects folder.

But no AI Aicraft onscreen.

Also your airlines.cfg does not seem to have enough entries, mine has 52 lines

You may also not have moved the MyTraffic X ATC sound file USEnglishBig.gvp to \FSX\Sound\ATC\ after running the atc_modifications.bat

Glynn, I have uninstalled MT as I wrote.

First I want to have back my default AI aircraft...

 

Forgot to mention that I also installed Mega Airport Madrid Barajas...

It is not activated.

 

Like there are Fs9 AI traffic files somewhere. But I have nothing activated. Only Schiphol at the moment.

You will need to rename \FSX\Scenery\World\Scenery\trafficAircraft.bgl.passive back to trafficAircraft.bgl, this will give you your default traffic back alternativly run \FSX\MyTraffic\restore_default_traffic.bat

 

bglfinder.exe found in your MyTraffic folder will find any old FS9 style bgl's for you and savethe results into bgl.txt

No real difference other than install/uninstall of MyTraffic into P3D is a manual operation, I run both.

 

An install of Mytraffic into FSX also includes mods to the ATC sound file and Airlines.cfg, if you had also copied these over to the correct locations in P3D then these must be also be undone by hand when removing MyTraffic from P3D.

 

If your trafficAircraft.bgl is present then default Ai should show up correctly, strange that it does not seen to work for you, do you have boat traffic and cars showing up correctly?

As I wrote i my first post in this topic : I have AI cars showing up. That is working perfectly...

 

 

Edit : I did a system restore and now the AI traffic aircraft are back.....

An install of Mytraffic into FSX also includes mods to the ATC sound file and Airlines.cfg,

 

Most people tend to forget this step when doing the manual install of MY T Pro into P3d 2.4. Without these files, the ATC sound doesn't work  properly for real world airlines. I usually  get even more goofed up, because I forget that I've added additional airlines (over and above what My T Pro adds) with EditVoicePack.
