January 12, 201511 yr Even though I have routes saved in the FMC there are times when I request routes it comes up with a NO ROUTES AVAILABLE message. I suspect a new route request is only available if the last route is complete.I have tried to clear the route on the FMC to no avail. There must be a way to erase a route entered in error and request another saved route. Colin Booth

January 12, 201511 yr Have you tried to enter again the origin and destination airports on the first route page? It resets the whole route entries. Romain Roux Avec l'avion, nous avons inventé la ligne droite. St Exupéry, Terre des hommes.
January 13, 201511 yr Author Yes thanks for the reply I have tried various combinations of entries on the route page copying the destination into the origin for example worked once but not again. It's not the end of the world but very frustrating . Colin
January 13, 201511 yr Usually when you enter a new destination or rewrite the destination field the route is reset. The routes are not saved 'in' the FMS; rather they are saved to one of several PMDG\FLIGHTPLAN folders and the retrieving of a flight plan simulates how the B777 loads data over radio/satellite.
