May 22, 200521 yr Firstly, I always fly in VATSIM so the replay is out of question :D But secondly, it's called self admiring and as a pilot it never does any good, so... ;)
May 22, 200521 yr Active Camera has a nice little feature: From the vc, shift+right-click anywhere on the ground when approach view is active, and the tower view will be at that spot. This way you can watch the landing from different angles. You can learn a lot doing this, ie. watch a difficult crosswind landing from the fence to see how you got out of the crab. I've also watched how I tend to almost get a tail-strike by overdoing the flare (too high pitch) often combined with wrong speed (slow). This becomes very clear when you see it from a point beside the runway by the touchdown point. Have fun!Eagle
May 22, 200521 yr Yes I watch almost all my landings on Instant Replay! I wish FS9 had an intelligent tower-view function that automatically detected the destination airports tower-postion and placed the tower-view there for the approach phase. As things stand FS9 still puts the tower 500000000000 miles behind the plane once its departed!Gotta say this Active Camera sounds wicked though!

It automatically moves the tower to the approach airport. And yes, I almost always watch my landings in spot view. Sometimes I'll position tower to be right beside the runway or at either end and just a few feet high, as if I had the ultimate plane spotting location. It's like your standing right there. If you use one of David Maltby's BAC 111 or Tristars, you'd better even cover your ears!
